Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
There actually were some problems on the cruise I went on for which I bought this particular policy. But thankfully, I personally did not have any issues that necessitated a claim of any kind. However, some of my travel mates did have problems, particularly with their return travel home. I highly recommended they get travel insurance in the future, especially for trips that are costing them a lot of money and especially during winter and spring travel when weather issues can cause unexpected delays, cancellations and other emergencies. I would rather have the protection and not have to use it than need it and not have it! I recently did have to file a claim with Generali for travel interruptions caused by the Polar Vortex that stuck in January and received payment of my claim. Generali seems to have the best price structure for the most comprehensive coverage compared to competitors. And I have no complaints so far about their service or support. Will definitely continue to rely on and recommend them!

The rate for the insurance coverage was very excellent for the five (5) of us. Fortunately, we did not have to use the coverage but wanted to have it just in case something happened. I would never leave the country without an insurance package.

My husband and I have been traveling since 2004 and wouldn't leave on a cruise without cruise insurance. I have used insure my trip for many years and feel it has many plans to choose from and all reasonable.

We had a change in itinerary BEFORE we left for our cruise & submitted a claim with Nationwide Luxury Cruise when we returned from our cruise & they were very prompt in sending us 2 checks for $1250 each.

I believe it is unconscionable that in order to waive the pre-existing condition requirement, you have to buy the insurance plan within 1-2 weeks after initial deposit. This is a rip-off. If you book a year in advance of the cruise, Nationwide gets to play with your money for a year, for free. Nice.
