Thank you for your review. There are two types of cancellation coverage: Trip Cancellation and Cancel for Any Reason. Trip cancellation is a set of covered reasons the insurance provider allows you to cancel for 100% reimbursement up until you leave your home. Cancel for Any Reason allows you to be able to cancel your trip for any reason of your choosing but the most you can get back is 75% and you have to cancel two or more days prior to your departure and meet other conditions. The C&F Travel Insure Worldwide Trip Protector Lite and Worldwide Trip Protector policies do not offer Cancel for Any Reason it does include Trip Cancellation, but the Worldwide Trip Protector Plus plan can offer both types of cancellation coverage's, state specific. Fortunately I did not have any problems during the trip so I didn't need this coverage in the end. However it did give me peace of mind that if anything did happen and I needed it I had the coverage.

Fortunately I didn’t have to file a claim. My trip went along just as I planned. However, when a person reaches my age, nothing can be taken for granted. It’s best to have backup, and that is what trip insurance is for. I will do the same thing next time.
