The Global Silver plan is the most economical of the three international plans offered by InsureandGo while providing primary emergency medical coverage for trips outside of the U.S.
We were unable to take the trip to France as planned due to hip replacement surgery but the policy recovered all of our investment and we've scheduled the trip for September.

Having had a claims experience with another travel insurance company, I cannot praise this one enough in comparison. Response was clear, helpful and timely. The main person I was dealing with was nice and efficient. And the claim was approved in a miraculously short time. Unfortunately, the company is no longer writing travel policies. I hope this is not a permanent decision.

Travel Delay is limited to a small amount, regardless of the delay. One would think trip interruption would cover airline mechanical problems that result in delays, regardless of the number of days (today's airlines fly with fully booked planes, so getting on a plane can be very difficult); but it doe not. This is a large gap in coverage that should be included covered!

Thank you very much for your comments. As you know from purchasing travel insurance over the years, there are many plans available, but not all plans are equal in coverage. There are several plans that would provide more comprehensive coverage for Travel Delay if that were your major concern. Please call us in the future for quotes and be sure to advise us of any major concerns. We can assist you in narrowing down the choices based on your requirements for coverage.
I had my 80 birthday on our cruise and at that age you never know what can happen regarding your health. We had the best plan for us just in case, but we thankfully we did not have to use it. We felt better safe than sorry. We were on a cruise with someone who did not have insurance and he had a heart attack and had to be taken off the ship near Puerto Rico and it wound up costing them a lot of money. Thankfully he survived.

Thankfully we did not need to use the coverage, but it was assuring that we had coverage just in case.
A fellow passenger ended up with an infection and used the ships doctors. Had to have blood work, antibiotics etc. and did not have coverage, ended up with a sizable bill.
