It turns out you really need 250k to cover emergency evacuations. I am lucky I didn’t need to use that feature.

I highly recommend this company to everybody. My baby had a medical issue last time and they provided all necessary support and assistance. For this specific trip I didn't have any medical issue but I was relaxed because I know I was covered by them.

Travel insurance brings peace of mind. Thankfully we have not had to file a claim, but cannot recommend this plan. Reading the reviews of others who filed claims, lead us to believe AIG is fair to customers.

"(a) the Insured's medical condition warrants immediate transportation from the place where the Insured is injured or sick to the nearest Hospital where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained;
(b) after being treated at a local Hospital, the Insured's medical
condition warrants transportation to where the Insured resides, to obtain further medical treatment or to recover; or
(c) both (a) and (b) above."
Of course, AIG Travel Guard does offer higher limits with the Silver plan 150,000 USD, Gold plan 500,000 USD or Platinum plan 1,000,000 USD.
