We are grateful that we did not need to use this insurance coverage. It was easy to sign up for and gave us peace of mind. However; not using it makes in unable to comment on how easy/hard it is to collect, if needed.

Fortunately I never had the occasion to use the policy. My mind was at ease the entire time that I was away on my vacation just knowing that should an event arise I had coverage! This is especially true when traveling through Europe, and the UK.

This trip insurance was a Godsend! My niece and I had planned to take a two-week vacation/cruise through Greece, Italy, and Barcelona toward the end of August. On August 8, my dad suffered a stroke, so we canceled our trip so we could care for him. Filing the claim was relatively easy online and Tammy, my adjuster, was very prompt and helpful. As soon as they got the paperwork they needed, they settled my claim almost immediately and very fairly. This covered everything, including the nonrefundable tours that I had booked. I always buy travel insurance for major trips and have never needed it until now. I'm so glad I got it and that I booked with this company. Highly recommend!

Bought the plan before our trip to the Bahamas. Had no clue there was a storm about to turn into a hurricane when I purchased it. Read the fine print and it says you have to purchase the plan before the hurricane is named and I guess that had happened the week before. Lost two days of vacation and this plan did not cover it.

The year before when I purchased a plan we got some emails telling us about coverage, how to file a claim including contact numbers and other useful stuff. After this plan was purchased, we didn't hear anything after the premium was collected.

This confirmation includes the purchase details, contact information, and schedule of benefits. We are sorry to learn that you had lost 2 days of your trip. For most policies, coverage would only apply if the reason you file a claim is considered unforeseen at the time of purchase. Once a storm or hurricane is known, coverage on a new policy would be reduced or no longer apply for a claim related.
