I went on a cruise to Hawaii and it was so rough we were unable to stop in Maui where I had a hotel reserved. I called and was told this was not trip interruption and I should have gotten cruise insurance. I got this insurance because I was going places other than the cruise (like Maui). Anyway, I'm out $300.00 and the cost of the useless insurance.

There are some insurance providers that offer Cruise policies, these are policies that offer cruise specific benefits. Benefits can include Itinerary Change, Port of Call Change, Shipboard Service Disruption and others. The whole point of insurance is peace of mind. I only purchase insurance for big trips (expense, time away) and the insurance did exactly what I needed: It provided peace of mind. My wife and I are home, trip was great and the insurance was never used. Peace of mind provided and all good.

Top notch service from the point of first inquiry when disrupted due to Hurricane Dorian until the final claim was process and paid. This service was a great investment to reduce worries due to delay or disruption!

We were very happy with this plan and will get it again for our next trip. Of all the years getting travel insurance, this was the first time we had to use it. It was just for the cost of a hotel stay due to our flight being delayed due to weather and missing our connection. We received reimbursement in a timely manner.

Had to cancel trip due to medical reason. The claim form asked a lot of questions that weren't really relevant to the situation but representative said they had to be answered anyway. Other than that, it was fine and claim was paid in full.
