Our trip went off as planned and we didn't need to use the insurance. I did like the emails with reminders and planning advice as our travel date got closer and felt that the company was engaged with me, the customer. Other trips have not gone as well and I always recommend travel insurance, because you never know.

Since we did not have a claim it is hard to judge on the service of Global Alert. The coverage provided a peace of mind for the "just in case".
