The plan is great but I was disappointed that coverage for my prescription glasses was not included.....someone stepped on them on the plane and broke them. I think they should be included in the coverage. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the great customer service representative that took excellent care of me. I would not hesitate to use your company again.

This is the second time I have used insuremytrip.com. I haven't had to file a claim either time, but I would use them again because they provide the most comprehensive services for what they charge. I feel that if I ever did have a problem on a trip, insuremytrip.com would be able to resolve my complaint efficiently.

The claim process was S-L-O-W -- it took nearly 8 weeks (and a couple phone calls) from initial contact to getting the actual check. For a small baggage delay claim, it seemed extremely long and I would encourage them to improve their service levels and timing. Because of the delays and follow-up I had to keep doing, I would think twice before purchasing their policy again. In the end, they did come through though.

Fortunately we did not have to use the plan but felt the plan would have covered all problems if necessary. This is the second time we have chosen this plan. We also encouraged our daughter to buy the same plan when she traveled to Ireland this summer.

Although I did not have occasion to use this plan I felt the coverage and the cost were fair. The whole idea of insurance is NOT to have to use it but to have the security of knowing that if you need it that you have it available. I will be using this again in 3 weeks for another cruise.

We thought as United Airlines cancelled the second of three legs of our outbound flight and rescheduled us to continue our trip 2 days later that we may need to use the plan. Luckily, after 1.5 hours working with United we were able to arrange another route which got us to our destination 1/2 hour later than we had planned. It was good to know the plan was there should it have been needed.

What a relief to have the assurance that if "worse case scenario" happened we could recover our losses and have emergency medical expenses covered as needed. Thankfully, we only had a small bump along the way (the GPS in our rental car quit working for a short while.)
