We were told after we filed our claim that the maximum benefit they could give us was $300.00 Our expenses were more than that for the extra day. We paid almost that much for the insurance, so I guess we almost broke even. It was very difficult to file a claim. I spent hours doing it as I am no computer expert and it was hard to provide all the receipts. I don't think it was worth it in the long run.

I did not have to file a claim. I think I read that no claims would be paid due to Corona Virius. I hope this is not the case. We had no problem with our flights.

I tried calling you to cancel the insurance because I had to cancel my trip due to coronavirus; no one answering my calls. Very disappointed with your company. Would not use it again or recommend it.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
Our trip was cancelled. We were very upset that the plan didn’t consider an exception request to cancel this insurance due to corona virus outbreak. We sent that request explaining our age and a travel ban from our job. Also sent a proof of trip cancellation that we no longer needed this insurance.
We seriously consider not to use this insurance for our future trips.
