I would have rated you with all five stars but fortunately i did not need to use the plan. Yeah. I did however feel safe on my trip knowing that the coverage was there. Would highly recommend the coverage as a safety blanket to anyone traveling.
I did have a phone conversation with a representative before i left on the trip and they were very helpful in explaining the plan and benefits and also helped me save money on certain features i did not need. So no oversell. I appreciated that.

Our return to home flight was cancelled due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland in late May/2011. We were delayed 4 days until I purchased return tickets for my wife and me. The total cost of the tickets, additional lodging and meal expenses ( all of which were documented) were reimbursed to me within aprox one month of our return. I couldn't ask for better service. I also must thank the people at InsureMyTrip for their help in getting into contact with and follow through with Travelex.

Not having a claim, I guess it did cover what I wanted. It's when you have to file a claim, that's when you can tell how you are treated and how things are handled that tells you how good the coverage really is. Thank God I did not have to file a claim.

Fits the needs of Medicare-Aged travelers by providing first dollar coverage and preserving the lifetime limit in Medicare Supplement policies, and needs of parties traveling with minors by providing free minor companion coverage under certain ages.

At the time this plan was purchased, children could be on the policy at no additional premium. However, at this time that is no longer the case with this plan.Jul 13,2011

hard to review a service since it was not needed, and in all the times we have purchased it, has luckily, never been needed. As long as the service remains reasonable in price we will be happy.

Since I didn't file a claim, my rating isn't really informed. One thing I didn't like was that when we changed the date of the trip about a month after booking, we were reluctantly allowed to move our coverage to the new date, but were warned that this was a one time only change. Other insurance companies used in the past allowed date changes without a murmur.
