This was my second time using the plan mainly to cover trip interruption. I find myself feeling secure, especially when I travel to Europe and South America, where flights are chaotic and language is different.
Last year when I got stranded in Paris, I got compensated by RoamRight for the hotel stay. This year, I flew to Chile to join a cruise, and ended in Argentina, where the flight was extremely chaotic. My friends' flight was cancelled for no reason. They needed to stay for another day with no compensation from the airline. I was glad to know I was well covered. Don't leave home without it.

I had some luggage delays from LAX. When you arrive and your luggage does not, it is difficult to know whether it is lost or just delayed. You have to buy necessary items from your destination, stuff that you normally don't think about until it isn't there. RoamRight did the right thing. How hard is it to do the right thing? Thanks. I have now bought my plan for my trip in February. Come on people for $20, the peace of mind is worth $20. Now don't get me wrong, filing a claim is tedious, but it's worth it in the long run.

I think it is good to get coverage for unexpected interruptions in travel. I purchaced the "Cancel for any reason" and received back %75 percent of my cost. Add in the cost of the insurance and it was better than not getting anything back at all. They we're great at processing my claim and sending a reimbursement in a short time.

There were many delays some of which could have been travel altering. Therefore the next time I will buy a plan with enough coverage for the trip if a delay causes intense disruption- so the problem was not the plan or the company or even you I was just not savvy enough to buy the right plan.

Overall, a satisfactory and successful transaction. I would definitely recommend RoamRight.
I was inclined to give 4 stars or lower for the specific reason that signing up was rather simple and prompt, and thus the waves of forms signed afterwards were a bit surprising.
My feedback would be that I would have had a smoother experience if I hadn't felt like, by comparison, it took moments to sign up, but then required a number of additional forms and bits of information to process a claim. I just felt a bit uncertain as to whether or not I was being run in a circle of files to discredit the claim by mining out some specific detail and then throwing it back to a piece of fine print I wouldn't have had the law degree to understand.
But - rest assured - the representatives were very kind and helpful, and the filing smooth. Again - could just be my inexperience with insurance.
