The Preferred plan is a comprehensive travel insurance plan offered by Arch RoamRight and has several options not offered on the Arch RoamRight Essential plan, allowing for a more customizable product. In addition to trip cancellation and delay, the Preferred plan offers coverage for one child per paid adult, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, trip interruption, medical and evacuation coverage, and 24/7 assistance.

Our flight was canceled and RoamRight reimbursed us in full for all of our expenses: food, hotel, travel and necessities. I was very impressed with the service I received. I rarely purchase travel insurance and had never submitted a claim. Based on this experience, I will purchase insurance from them again.

Due to a problem with my wife's health, we had to cancel our trip about a month before we were to leave. This was done per her doctor's advice and our insurance claim was paid quickly.

I really can't say how good plan is without having to use it. This policy was considerably cheaper than plan offered by travel group and easy to buy after I did research and contacted InsureMyTrip. They saved me a lot of time and money.

I generally do not buy Trip Insurance but was required to in this instance by travel provider. How can you fairly judge an insurance plan without having filed a claim to determine its reliability? I chose this plan from InsureMyTrip comparisons strictly based on cost/coverage without consideration for performance which is always an unknown in insurance coverage. I sometimes feel like the most insured person in the world still left with holes of vulnerability.

This is the second time I purchased insurance from RoamRight. The first time I had the security of being insured but fortunately had no incident that required making a claim. My most recent trip had to be canceled for medical reasons suffered by my companion. I was more than pleased by the way the claim was handled. The claim adjuster was incredibly understanding of the circumstances, available for my questions and prompt in handling the claim. My next trip will again be insured by RoamRight.

I did not have reason to file a claim and hence my review is based on the following only: (a) Customer Service; (b) Website and ability to contact a representative to answer my questions and help identify appropriate plan; (c) Having the insurance set my mind at ease.

Thank you for your review. The RoamRight Preferred plan did offer Rental Car Collision / Loss with a limit of $50,000 for an additional premium of $198.00. However, you did not elect to purchase the optional coverage on the date of purchase.Feb 04,2016
